The Practice Lab

The Practice Lab — A 3-Part Workshop Series

Are you feeling stuck in your yoga practice? The Practice Lab is a 3-part workshop series designed for students who are ready to go deeper. Each small-group session focuses on a specific category of postures, breaking them down with intention and detail to help you move with more confidence, strength, and awareness on the mat.

This is not a beginner series. It's for practitioners who already have a foundation and are looking to refine their technique, build strength, and unlock new potential in familiar shapes.

Session 1: Standing Series — April 17
We'll explore key standing postures including Warrior A and B, Triangle, Extended Side Angle, and more. You'll learn how alignment and engagement in these foundational shapes build the strength and range of motion that carry into every part of your practice — including the work we'll do in Sessions 2 and 3.

Session 2: Seated Series & Backbends — May 1
We'll move into seated postures and backbends including Marichyasana variations, Janu Sirsasana, Baddha Konasana, and Urdhva Dhanurasana. This session focuses on building mobility, deepening your forward folds and twists, and developing the openness and strength that backbends demand.

Session 3: Inversions & Arm Balances — May 8
Everything from Sessions 1 and 2 comes together here. We'll work through Pincha Mayurasana, handstand, and arm balances like Eka Pada Bakasana and Parsva Bakasana — building progressions that meet you where you are and showing you how the strength and mobility from earlier sessions directly feed into these postures.

What to Expect

Each session is 90 minutes and limited in size to ensure personalized attention. You'll receive hands-on guidance and assists throughout, with space to ask questions and explore at your own pace.

Whether you're working toward more advanced postures or simply want to feel stronger and more connected in your current practice, The Practice Lab will give you the tools, awareness, and technique to evolve your practice in a meaningful way.

Who This Series Is For

We recommend that participants have a consistent yoga practice and have attended a minimum of 20 classes before joining this series. This ensures you'll have the baseline familiarity with postures and terminology to get the most out of each session. If you're unsure whether this is the right fit, don't hesitate to reach out — we're happy to chat.
