For January's intermediate class, Kelsey has designed a progressive, intelligently sequenced flow that builds toward Bird of Paradise as a peak pose. The class focuses on reconnecting students to their practice after the holidays by emphasizing strength, balance, and mobility - particularly through hip opening, hamstring strength, and bind preparation.
The peak pose is optional and well-supported, so students can engage with the process even if they don't take the full expression. The goal is to offer something that feels both challenging and grounding, and that supports long-term practice rather than just achieving a pose.
