About Jan:
Jan has always been a passionate health advocate. With a Nutrition degree from the University of Alberta, she has spent years exploring the connection between diet, movement, and overall well-being.
After falling in love with Pilates, she knew she had to share it with others and made the leap into teaching — a decision she hasn't looked back on since. Trained through Body Harmonics in Toronto and currently completing her reformer certification, Jan is dedicated to growing her practice with the goal of one day running her own Pilates studio.
She has been teaching for nearly two years, blending both modern/contemporary and classical methods to create classes that are accessible, effective, and fun for all levels.
Teaching at Yogalife holds a special place in Jan's heart. Having taken classes at the studio with her sister and mom growing up, stepping into the role of instructor is a full-circle moment she doesn't take for granted. Jan's classes are all about good vibes and great burns.
Expect curated playlists, core-shaking challenges, and plenty of reminders to breathe.
